Suma Flamenca Festival
Location: Different locations in the Community of Madrid
From October 19 to November 7, the Community of Madrid will celebrate the Festival Suma Flamenca 2021 in several scenic centers, under the artistic direction of Antonio Benamargo, already present in previous editions. A journey to the South of the South.
This 16th edition will feature a full program, consisting of artists from various places such as Cadiz, Jerez, Los Puertos, Seville, Granada, Almeria, Madrid, Toledo, Vitoria and even Latin America.
Prior to the opening of the festival, a cycle will be held under the name of Suma Flamenca Joven, in which singers, dancers and concert guitarists under 30 years of age will participate. The event will take place in the Sala Verde of the Teatros del Canal from September 23 to 26.
The festival will be held in the halls of the Teatros del Canal, but it will also take place in different venues in the Community of Madrid, such as the Paco Rabal and Pilar Miró cultural centers in Vallecas, the Sala Cuarta Pared, the Real Coliseo de Carlos III in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, the Monastery of Montserrat, the Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial and the Royal Coliseum of Carlos III in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Lorenzo de El Escorial, the Monasterio de El Paular and the Centro Comarcal de Humanidades Sierra Norte de La Cabrera, Humanities Center Sierra Norte de La Cabrera, among others.
Flamenco is one of the hallmarks of Spanish culture, an art that has accompanied us for hundreds of years. Celebrate flamenco this year at the Suma Flamenca 2021 Festival, accompanied by great figures of today's flamenco, you can't miss it!
