25th Anniversary of Teatralia
Location: Community of Madrid
Teatralia celebrates its 25th anniversary with a very special edition. The International Festival of Performing Arts for All Audiences presents a program of 29 national and international shows, which will tour the stages and municipalities of the Community of Madrid from March 5 to 28.
Theater, music, circus and magic will be the main protagonists. They will tell stories about friendship, memory, inclusion or the meaning of life in some of the most important venues in Madrid, such as La Casa Encendida or the Teatros del Canal.
Three of their best works will repeat this year due to the success in past editions: El Gato Manchado y la Golondrina Sinhá, by El Retablo; Las aventuras de Huckleberry Finn by Ultramarinos de Lucas and Concierto para baraja y piano by MagoMigue. They will share the stage with other proposals such as HUBO, by El Patio Teatro, which pays tribute to the rural world; or the French circus Les Madeleines de Poulpe, by Kadavresky, specialized in aerial exercises and acrobatics on skis.
The edition will be focused on young audiences and children, but even adults will be able to celebrate. All ages, genders, social and economic conditions will be welcome at the Festival, which is more than ever committed to inclusion.
In turn, Teatralia will offer sessions with sign language interpreters and adapted programs to ensure understanding. It will be a meeting place for countries and generations seeking to enjoy culture.
Let the show begin!
