Below you will find a new list so that you can enjoy art without leaving our region. Magic, art, history and fantasy are masterfully combined in this list that once again... you can't miss it!
Don't miss the monographic exhibition that will take place at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum from 26 June to 30 September, in which we will discover the relationship between the great impressionist painter Claude Monet (Paris, 1840 - Giverny, 1926) and his master Eugène Boudin (Honfleur, 1824 - Deauville, 1898).
Auschwitz. Not far away, not long ago
More than 600 original objects, mostly from the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, tell the story of this concentration camp through an emotional tour of the Canal Art Exhibition Centre. After 7 years of intense work, this exhibition premiered worldwide on December 1st, and can be visited until October 7th.
The Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo will be hosting this exhibition dedicated to the work of this German artist from 25 May to 23 September. To do that, the museum will bring together a selection of images that range from everyday views to compositions that tend towards abstraction.
La colina de los tigres dientes de sable
The Regional Archaeological Museum inaugurates the first monographic exhibition on the sites of Cerro de los Batallones. Through fossils, animal and landscape reconstructions, videos or models, we will move to Madrid 9 million years ago. On Saturdays and Sundays by prior reservation on telephone 918796666, you can take part in the guided visits.
Completing our listing, we propose you to know this new space located in the Fundación MAPFRE Recoletos Exhibition Hall. It is a permanent exhibition with sixty-five works by Joan Miró, from different collections, and four sculptures and an oil painting by Alexander Calder, which allow us to tour the career of one of our most representative and universal artists of the twentieth century.
