CORPA

The municipality is located in a hilly terrain. The main example of the artistic heritage is the Church of Santo Domingo de Silos. It was built in the middle of the 12th century and its tower stands out from the outside. The religious elements inside the church were destroyed during the Spanish Civil War. Another patrimonial example is found in the House-Palace of the Marquis of Mondéjar -quite deteriorated- which preserves a heraldic coat of arms carved in stone.

In Corpa, it is also worth mentioning the Fuente del Rey, from which waters with medicinal properties flow. In the past, the fountain had great fame and came to supply several monarchs, hence its name.
